Born February 17, 1973 in Des Moines, IA. Discovered I had an affinity for drawing when I won a drawing contest by age 6.

Attended Mankato State University where I majored in Graphic Design. In the Fall of 1994 I attended a conference in Minneapolis, MN that convinced me that if I wanted to pursue the profession of Graphic Design and develop my creative skills to the level that I deemed necessary to excel in my field. Then I needed to transfer schools.

That year I transfered to Iowa State University and was accepted into their Graphic Design program in the Fall of 1995. While at Iowa State University, I learned the creative and processing skills I was lacking.

During the Summer of 1997 I worked for Spangler Design in St. Louis Park, MN. Where I learned how a small Graphic Design firm operates, and gained valuable experience in the professional world.

In the Spring of 1998 I graduated with a BFA from Iowa State University in Graphic Design.

The following year I went to work for Red 5 Interactive in Des Moines, IA as a Web Developer. During my employment at Red 5 Interactive I learned the value of working with a team of Account Managers, Web Designers, Web Developers, Project Managers and Programmers. My skills went from novice to an expert in a very short period of time. In fact the company was so successful, that we made a $1 million profit in a year and a half since I joined the company.

Because of our success, I was convinced by one of our competitors to leave Red 5 Interactive for a more lucrative position at Alliance Technologies. While at Alliance Technologies my duties including designing, developing, websites and Flash animations. Also, I was frequently consulted on types of Internet Technologies we should focus on at Alliance Technologies.

In the Fall of 2001, I left Alliance Technologies to start my own company Internet Consulting business in Minneapolis.

While in Minneapolis, I worked for Carlson Marketing Group within the Internal Marketing Communications Group. My main duties were assisting the Marketing Communications Group in website maintenance of the internal company's branding website.

By the Spring of 2006, I moved from Minneapolis to Denver, CO to pursue a different personal and professional lifestyle.

Currently, I'm taking a Web Design class at the Art Institute of Colorado to improve upon my educational and professional skills as a Web Designer.
